Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage therapy is similar to Swedish massage, but the deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).

SWEDISH MASSAGE 

Swedish massage involves the use of hands, forearms or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve mental and physical health. Active or passive movement of the joints may also be part of the massage.

HOT STONE mASSAGE

Hot stone massage is a specialty massage practice where smooth, heated stones are used as an extension of therapist's hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

cupping therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts sterile cups on your skin for a few moments to create suction. Cupping may help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and can be used in conjunction with deep-tissue massage.

GUA SHA therapy

Gua sha is a traditional East Asian therapy said to help break down scar tissue and connective tissue, improving movement in the joints. Another aim of gua sha is to move pooled or stagnated blood to relieve symptoms. Using a tool instead of the hands during massage allows a therapist to evenly apply more pressure.
